Islamophobia Studies Yearbook 2026
The Islamophobia Studies Yearbook invites submissions for its 2026 edition. We welcome interdisciplinary contributions that advance our understanding of Islamophobia through theoretical innovation, empirical research, and critical analysis.
The Yearbook particularly encourages submissions that reflect on recent developments in anti-Muslim racism, policy changes, and emerging patterns of discrimination across various domains including media, politics, law, education, and everyday social interactions.
While we welcome contributions on all aspects of Islamophobia research, the 2026 edition will have a special focus on digital manifestations of Islamophobia and the role of online spaces in perpetuating anti-Muslim sentiment.
We are particularly interested in research examining:
Full-length research papers (6,000-8,000 words)
Shorter contributions (2,000-4,000 words)
Critical reviews (1,000-2,000 words)
Field reports and documentation (1,500-3,000 words)
All submissions should be sent via email to the editorial team. Please ensure all required documents are included in your submission package.
